About View Gallery

View is one of the largest independent galleries in the South West, and brings a fresh and vibrant feel to showing contemporary art.

The gallery is split into zones over two floors and provides a large exhibiting space to each artist on show. A mix of media includes paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and a dedicated room for video and installations.

An active events programme and frequently changing exhibitions keeps the art fresh for regular visitors. Above all, the atmosphere is friendly and informal, allowing people to feel comfortable to view art in their own way.

We have a second gallery space, View@ Harveys Cellars, in the centre of Bristol. This gallery is co-located with the infamous sherry, wine and cocktail lounge and provides a perfect environment for viewing art. The collaboration presents solo exhibitions featuring emerging and established local artists.
