About Damian
In Damian’s drawings, initial whimsical ideas form characters that develop through a journey of story telling. Initially, innocent fairy-tale figures are influenced by personal associations and, over long periods, latent meanings emerge as numerous characters evolve.
During this process, the work begins to dictate its own construction. The cycle continues as Damian responds to unconscious meanings that are revealed and moulded.
