About Harriet
Harriet’s photorealistic painting style involves amazing technical ability and a creative flair that makes her work stand out. She captures real life images with an incredible precision using oil paint and brush, but it is her eye that captures moments of drama in her subjects that form an absorbing composition.
In her portraiture, people appear unaware of being observed, but there is an almost intrusive closeness that exposes detail usually unseen. Similarly, reflective water droplets in floral paintings create an intimacy with the subject through a vision that reveals and enhances natural beauty.
