Sharon’s work relates to the city and the issues of environmental damage due to constant property development and the loss of habitat to wildlife. The imagery revolves around the urban landscape, where animals sit alongside the continuous construction of the cityscape.

Sharon produces mixed media works. The starting point for her is always in the form of drawings, showing an inter-disciplinary approach to image making by incorporating elements of drawing, printmaking, photography and painting in order to create layers of mark making.
